The seminar: «The Art of interpretation» (3)

On December 24, the Russian Institute for the History of the Arts held the seminar of the series “The art of interpretation”. There were holders of a fellowship of Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation as well as the soloists of the Mariinsky Theatre were present with their arts to the public in the Green Hall. The concert program, along with popular classical works, present with vocal miniatures, which scores are stored in the Cabinet of manuscripts of the. Aria by Osip Kozlovsky and “Pastorelli” by F.L. Seidel performed by singer Alexander Parshin with an accompaniment of harpist Sofia Kyprskaya. Leading this seminar, George Kovalevsky, Ph.D. (Department of Music, RIHA), told the audience about the history of the institution and particularity of the performed works.
