Seminar on "Cinema and filmmakers of the XXI century: Valentina Matveeva"
On Wednesday, September 21 at 16.00 at White Hall of Russian Institute for Art History will be held the next seminar of the series “Cinema and filmmakers of the XXI century”. This time our guest is Valentina Matveeva – the famous documentary filmmaker.
During the seminar will be shown excerpts from the her film works, as well as the presentation of the newly published book of V. Matveeva “Apostle of love. Memories of Metropolitan Anthony of Sourozh and others”.
Within half-century of work Valentina Matveeva directed many documentaries about the life of the Church, of the clergy and laity, earnestly serving God, the people and the fatherland.
Valentina Matveeva are the author of the following documentaries:
“Hope”,
“Who rocks the cradle”
“Virtual aggression”
film series “apostle of love” and “Russia is still alive.”
All interested in art, scholars post-graduate students are invited to attend.
