Seminar «Contemporary musical theater: vectors of development»: «Parsifal»

On Monday, May 22, at 13.00 in the Cinema hall  of Russian Institute for the History of Arts there was be another seminar from the cycle «Contemporary Music Theater: vectors of development». Conducted on the Richard Wagner birthday, the workshop was be devoted to the 2008 year’ production of his last masterpiece «Parsifal» in Bayreuth by Norwegian director Stefan Herheim. During the seminar, A.L.Porfirieva, PhD [Head of the Department of music, RIHA], will present her scientific report along with a key scenes of the opera video exposition.
