Seminar «Actual issues of the contemporary art process": "The desire of the mystery-play. Performances-cycles on the modern Russian scene»

On Monday, November 20, at 14.00 in the White Hall of Russian Institute for the History of Arts Departament of actual problems of contemporary art culture will present a seminar “Desire for the Mystery-play. Performances-cycles on the contemporary Russian stage “(from the cycle” Actual problems of the contemporary artistic process”). The lecturer: I.V.Vdovenko, PhD, Departament of actual problems of contemporary art culture, RIAH, senior researcher.

The seminar is built around the discussion of four theatrical projects going on this season in Moscow and St. Petersburg:

Klim’s: “8 out of 7” (“The non-existent chapters of the novel”Idiot”),

B. Yukhananov: “Golden donkey”,

Engineering Theater of AHE: “Between the Two”,

A.Savchuk: “Gilgamesh”.

The duration of the seminar is 2 hours
