V Russian Cultural Congress with International Participation “Cultural Heritage — from the Past to the Future”
The Russian Institute for the History of Arts, as a partner, will take part in the V Russian Cultural Congress with international participation “Cultural Heritage — from the Past to the Future”, which will be held on November 8–10 in St. Petersburg.
Within the framework of the congress on November 9 at the Russian Institute for the History of Arts, the sections “Cultural Policy” and “Culturology of Art” will be held in the mode of videoconference.
The primary object of attention of the congress participants will be the inexhaustible heritage of Russian culture and, first of all, the Russian people, who created and defended their original civilization. A worthy place at the Congress venues will be occupied by the analysis of the cultural heritage of other countries and peoples, respect and interest, which have always been a strong side of the national scientific tradition, as well as UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites.
