International scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Raisa Vlasova
October 28 and 29, the Russian Institute for the History of Arts, together with the St. Petersburg I.E.Repin’ State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture at the Russian Academy of Arts hold an international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Raisa Ivanovna Vlasova.
Raisa Ivanovna Vlasova (1919–2003) – Doctor of Art Criticism, Professor at the Department of Russian Art within the Faculty of Theory and History of Art, at Leningrad’ and then the St. Petersburg I.E.Repin’ Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. Being taught at this educational institution for more than five decades, she is the author of monographs, textbooks and scientific articles on Russian and Soviet art, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
The conference is planned in St. Petersburg, on the premises of the Russian Institute of Art History and the St. Petersburg I.E.Repin’ Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.
The conference topics within the inclusion of reports and messages on R.I.Vlasova as person, scientist and teacher, as well as issues of domestic and foreign art of the late XIX – mid XX century, which were part of the scientific interests of R.I. Vlasova, and the work of masters of this period.
Please send applications for participation in the conference no late then September 15, 2019 to e-mail as follows: rivlasova-conf-2019@artcenter.ru. Application should contain participants full name, place of work, position, academic degree and title, address and telephone number, as well as the subject and annotation of the report (up to 1000 characters).
It is planned to be prepared and published a collection of articles on the basis of the conference materials.
Payment of travel expenses of non-resident participants of the conference is carried out by the sending party.
Time-limit for the report – up to 20 minutes.
The organizing committee reserves the right not to consider reports that are not relevant to the conference issues.
