Conference "Folklore as an object of interdisciplinary study". To the 100th anniversary of V.E.Gusev
May 16-17, 2018 the Department of Folklore, Russian Institute for the History of Arts together with the Department of Russian Folklore, Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Russian Literature (Pushkin House) hold a scientific conference “Folklore as an object of interdisciplinary study” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Viktor Evgenievich Gusev.
Suggested issues for discussion:
1. Comparative Slavic studies.
2. Comprehensive and interdisciplinary study of folklore.
3. Folklore and folklorism.
4. The Folk Theater.
5. Aesthetics of folklore and the theory of folk artistic culture.
During the conference, performances with memories of V.E.Gusev are also expected.
