Round table “Electronic Audio Technologies: Organum for creation Virtual Values. Music in the theater, cinematography and multimedia”

On Monday, October 15, at 5 pm in the White Hall of Russian Institute for the History of Arts, Department of Organology, Russian Institute for the History of Arts will present a round table “Electronic Audio Technologies: Organum for creation Virtual Values. Music in the theater, cinematography and multimedia”.

It is planned to discuss a number of creative and technological issues related to artistic creativity in musical art, such as: issues of the phonographic aesthetics of contemporary artistic reality, which is determined by the global expansion of the artistic palette through active integration into the phonography of synthesized, morphic sounds, natural and artificial timbres that make up thesaurus of musical and audiovisual compositions; modulation of the understanding of the creative model in terms of musical instruments of the new type; the genesis of virtuality and virtualization tendencies in the context of the artistic space of contemporary sound art, both in the instrumental scene and in the wider context of musical textology.

The discussion of the issues posed is based on the system of concepts that has developed in the academic practice of artistic creativity, allowing us to formulate a number of conclusions on their foundation taking the aspects of the artist’s interaction with the creative model that have not been previously discussed or formulated intermittently in the course of research of an interdisciplinary nature.
