International scientific-practical conference "Lessons from the national cinematography of the 1970-ies: Values. Innovation. Personality"

On Wednesday, November 30, at 11.30 at White Hall of Russian Institute for Art History will begin its work the International scientific-practical conference “Lessons from the national cinematography of the 1970-ies: Values. Innovation. Personality”.

The period from 1970 to 1985 in the russian cinema history called “cinema of 70th.” It was during these years that formed a pleiad of world-class filmmakers who, along with the development of socially significant issues in his films sought to comprehend the essential aspects of life. The seventies of the twentieth century was the heyday of national cinematography. Today, the pride of the Russian cinema and cinematography of “near abroad” countries make films of: Tarkovsky, G. Panfilov, A. Mikhalkov-Konchalovsky, A. Hermann Sr., N. Mikhalkov, L Shepitko, E. Klimov, creative tandem A. Mindadze – V.Abdrashitov et al.

During the conference there will make a presentations of domestic and foreign film critics, representatives of other humanities, which are conceptualize the innovation, inter-ethnic dialogue, the specificity of creative individuals of authors and filmmakers, as well as the system of aesthetic values in the national cinematograph of 1970-1985’s.
