Concert performance of Irina Zubova

On November, 23 at 18.00 in the Green Hall of Russian Institute for Art History, Countess Irina Ivanovna Zubova will present her solo concert performance.

Zubova, Irina Ivanovna – a direct descendant of Count Valentin Platonovich Zubov (1884-1969), a russian art historian, Ph.D., founder of the Institute for the History of Art (1912). Irina Ivanovna undertaking an active socio-cultural activities in support of the Russian art and Russian culture in Europe. For a number of years, she supported and promoted a “Singing Hospital” project, which aims at providing assistance and support to sick children in Russia, Italy, United Kingdom and the Netherlands.

Since she being a listener student in The Hague Royal Conservatory at 2007-2011, as the owner of a lyrical soprano, Irina Ivanovna actively continue giving a concerts and conducts training vocals. Her repertoire includes songs and arias from the works of many Russian composers such as Mussorgsky, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Glinka, Rimsky-Korsakov, D. Shostakovich.

At a concert on November 23 under the piano accompaniment she will perform with the vocal works by Shostakovich, Rachmaninov, Rimsky-Korsakov, S. Barber, Charles Ives, Britten, K. Weill, E. Satie and others.

All of her endeavors, Irina Zubova devoting to the fundamental idea of her professional activities – musical creativity that heals. She always seeks in her projects to bring together science and art, professional performance and charity.
